Origin - Native to U.S.

Other info. - This species can be found in just a few southern counties in Missouri. The plant is very easy to identify because of its small yellow flowers and cucumber-like fruits. This species is a creeper and can completely cover other plants that it may grow upon.
The seeds of the fruit are purgative.
