Flowering - July - October. Habitat - Fallow fields, open disturbed areas, roadsides, railroads. Origin - Native to the western U.S., Central and South America. Other info. - This species can be found in scattered counties along the Missouri River and a few counties elsewhere in the state. The plant is an annual weed in our area and spreads fairly quickly in warmer climates.
