Other info. - This showy little species can be found mainly in the Ozarks of Missouri but is also found in the extreme northwestern portion of the state. The plant is easy to identify because of its soft silvery leaves and habitat. It is really and unmistakable plant. A. sericeus has quite large flowers for the overall size of the plant. It would make an interesting garden species.
sericeus means "silky."
